Sketched, for a coloring competition
We were asked to sketch something for the preschool department of Hope Christian High School. The sketch would be used for a coloring competition for young kids during the school's foundation day. Again, Yang Gagelonia and I collaborated to create the piece. Happy!

Masks are one of the more popular art activities for my young students. Same topic, different country, different angle, different attack. Which continent do we visit now? Will they make Venetian masks or full-faced masks? Choices, choices. Should we paint them, color them, use glue and colored paper? Soon soon, I'll decide.
We were asked to conduct a few art workshops for the elementary and high school faculty at Hope. These are landscapes taught by Niño G. based on "Painting for Dummies". Simple technique, lots of fun! All the teachers had smiles on their faces by the end of the 1-hour session, even though they entered the art room with much reluctance.
These are pictures of our neighbor's house when the flood was just getting started and when it was getting dangerous. You can see the progress of the flood waters especially when they reached the roof of our neighbor's house. The first photo on the left is the second story window of our other neighbor. By then the water was in the first floor of the house. I didn't take pictures inside the house, but if you can imagine your family refrigerator bobbing in the water bumping the walls of your house...well...thats how it was. For 12 hours. It wasn't traumatic. It just made us realize the we were lucky to be dry, safe. And that we had helped strangers be dry and safe as well.
So she's my best friend and yes, I got to be her "model" for some paintings..but her work is brilliant nevertheless. I love her colors, her skill and eye for detail as well as her composition. Beautiful! Congratulations Lyr!

Showing support to my friend, Lyra Abueg Garcellano. Awesome paintings she made and I'm really happy for her! Mom, Gabbie and our friends came too and it was a blast!
(Some pictures courtesy of Blanc)
P.S. As of today, I heard her paintings got sold! Congratulations!!
We finally got over the initial stage of setting up the new resto! Its a relief and a happy moment for me, I'm happy for my friends who own the vegetarian restaurant and that I helped them out with the collateral. Added to the fact that they're dream clients, easy to talk to, accessible, demanding in a good way and understands the design process that they respect my suggestions.
If you're in Manila and want to taste heavenly vegetarian meals, (or even a cup of coffee) you can visit them at the Loop, ELJ Bldg., ABS-CBN, Mother Ignacia St., Quezon City, Manila.
Studies for flip-flops! They're not out yet, that would depend on the manufacturer. But I like these...even if they are too "pink".

I want to design a T-shirt
So I gave it a shot.
I designed this for Inkfruit.com
and will see how it goes.
Inkfruit is a community of designers who publish t-shirt designs, people vote for it, and the highest number of votes of a certain design from people gets to have their shirt printed!
Wheee!
I don't think a lot of people will get this though. *smile*
