Learning the silk screen process with the kids was fun! Who would have thought that it really was simple. And the colors!! Luscious! But going back to the project at hand, I was happy the kids enjoyed making something that they could be proud of and sell. The fruit of their labors are t-shirts and bags with lot of heart.

New Teacher again

Everyday Hero.

Something we all strive to be at any given point in our lives. And now, I'm part of a group of gifted teachers and parents that want to grow young heroes who'll rock their world when they grow up. I'm extremely blessed for this chance. And I'm so grateful. Now I understand a little of what passion means...doing what you love brings out the best of that person.

The school is just a form or venue. What really matters is what we teach, what we say and how we use our heart to guide our teaching. Thanks Teacher A. for finding me at the right time and inviting me here. I'm so lucky.

Story Writing Workshop, Summer 2010

Finished the workshop. Stories had already been edited and re-edited. Then there were the drawings. Had everyone contribute something. And they were great! Learned that there are keys to opening a person's understanding. And as a teacher, I have to find those keys, wherever thay may lie. And finding them is part of the fun-filled process.
